University Programs
Charles Sturt University is a university of the land and people of our regions. The university aims to develop holistic, far-sighted people who help their communities grow and flourish. The Wiradjuri phrase yindyamarra winhanganha was gifted to the school by elders which means the wisdom of respectfully knowing how to live well in a world worth living in. This phrase represents the people of Charles Sturt University and their ethos. It comes from traditional Indigenous Australian knowledge, but it also speaks to the mission of universities – to develop and spread wisdom to make the world a better place.

It operates within a school to address children’s needs using a multiagency response. The program also incorporates Indigenous content to facilitate reconciliation and an understanding of country. Formally evaluated, the program encourages change and has the potential to be implemented in targeted schools throughout Queensland.

Adventure Therapy Latvia is a group of people who are convinced that an adventure can be more than an adrenaline-saturated event. The story of Adventure Therapy Latvia began in the summer of 2019 when Sense of Team represented Latvia in the Adventure Therapy Europe GATE 2019 event that takes place every two years.
